Sludge Inflow

Sludge (residual material) is the final by-product physically and chemically separated during the water treatment process. It is directed to the sludge treatment facility.

Thickening Facility

This is a pretreatment facility that reduces the volume of sewage sludge, thereby decreasing the volumetric load on the digestion tanks.

- Main Equipment: GBT (Gravity Belt Thickener), centrifugal thickener, pressurized flotation thickener, atmospheric flotation thickener

Dewatering Facility

This facility reduces the moisture content of digested sludge, turning it into a solid form with a moisture content of less than 80%.

- Main Equipment: Centrifugal dewatering machine, belt filter press

Digestion Tank

The facility anaerobically digests sludge, reducing its volume and stabilizing it, while simultaneously producing digestion gas (methane), which is used as an alternative energy source.

- Main Equipment: Gas blower, waste heat recovery system, heating boiler

Drying / Incineration

Drying : The dewatered sludge, with 80% moisture content, is further dried to reduce the moisture content to 10%.
- Main Equipment: Dryer, steam boiler, SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system, dried sludge storage facility

Incineration : After drying, the sludge is incinerated at 800°C.
- Main Equipment: Fluidized bed incinerator, air pollution control system, sludge drying equipment
